So for some time now (like 2 months) ive been on a mission to finish an environment piece that I can throw in real-time. Like the Crysis Sandbox Editor. So, Ive begun the madding task of creating, baking, and importing assest for an old school Gothic Basilica. Been reading a lot about Gothic architecture lately. I love it. I still have sooo much more to do, and although I have started texturing(these are all AO only) I really need to kick it in gear.
It has been fun baking/optimizing finding out what works, and what does not.

One of the great things about this project is that Iam doing it all in 3dsmax. Getting to know the softwere and finding out what I like and dont like. Its kind of cool that in two months I actually havent opened maya at all.
Playing with Unreal3 is cool and all too. Allthough I would rather be in CrysisEditor.

Unreal screengrabs of my current progress. Damn. I've a long way to go.
